The tasks of the church on the subject of abortion

The first priority should be immediate pastoral and therapeutic help for women (possibly also for men) who ask for help before or after an abortion.

The church - possibly in cooperation with government agencies - should research the social and psychological reasons why people decide to have an abortion and make the findings known in the media, in preaching, in educational work and in schools.

On the part of the church, the aim should be to work on these causes.

Otherwise the word of Jesus applies: "Do not judge!" (Mt 7:1)

Self-help groups should be organized for people who have psychological problems after an abortion and who - if necessary - receive therapeutic support.

It is important to make people aware that the embryo is a human being.
If this is not the case, the effects can be seen e.g. in the former communism in the Eastern Bloc:

In Moscow, under communism, abortions were five times higher than the number of births.

A woman from communist Czechoslovakia confessed to having had seven abortions.

A woman from communist Yugoslavia saw no problem in having an abortion before marriage, even though the child's father was her future husband.

ON THE PART OF THE CHURCH, IT IS ABOUT UNDERSTANDING, HELPING AND ELIMINATING THE CAUSES OF PROBLEMS!
