Original sin as the cause of devil?

"Devil" does not exist?

Reflections by Manfred Hanglberger

One should be very careful in the church with talking about devil; because "devil" does not exist at all, but there are aggressive and violent people whose psyche has a concrete cause. It is important to understand this in order to possibly protect oneself from these people or to walk a path of healing with them.

TODAY'S KNOWN CAUSES FOR "EVIL BEHAVIOR” OF PEOPLE:

1. Limited perception

2. Limited cognition

3. Wrong interpretation of perceptions and cognitions:

- Ancient Israelites interpreted natural disasters, military defeats, and family misfortunes as punishments from God.

- Sick people at the time of Jesus: Many Jews believed that they had to serve a punishment from God.

- Karma doctrine in Hinduism: Poor and sick people are themselves to blame for their suffering.

- The National Socialists interpreted the evolutionary findings of Charles Darwin as valid knowledge also for the development of peoples and races:
Social Darwinism, racial doctrine >> callousness and cruelty towards other peoples.

4. Repressions of feelings in childhood lead to burdensome projections and to destructive behaviors in the present. >>>

5. Cross-generational burdens (unconscious emotional solidarity with an ancestor) also lead to burdensome projections and to destructive behaviors in the present. >>>

6. Shifts of emotional needs to other areas of human needs.

7. Compensation of feelings of inferiority >>>

UNFORTUNATELY, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH HAS NO CONTEMPORARY FAITH TEACHING ON THE DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIORS OF MAN!

WHY DOES THE CHURCH LEADERSHIP NOT DO ITS HOMEWORK?
